Sourced from the Xinjayang tea region in Lishan, this tea comes from tea gardens situated at an altitude of approximately 2,000 meters and is crafted exclusively from high-quality tea leaves harvested during the spring and winter seasons. Xinjayang lies along the upper reaches of the Dajia River and is home to one of the Atayal indigenous tribes.
The significant temperature difference between day and night in this region stimulates the tea plants to produce higher levels of tea polyphenols—natural antioxidants that contribute to a richer tea flavor. Additionally, the frequent mist and cloud cover enrich the tea leaves with amino acids, which balance out the bitterness of the polyphenols and result in a sweeter, smoother brew. This is one of the most popular selections in the Zhenhao series, celebrated for its exceptional flavor and quality.
